Pines Inn Cottages on McCrossen Lake, “Where families gather.” Whether you are a small group, multiple families, we’re the perfect setting for you! Nestled in the pines we offer four heated modern units with 2 bedrooms with additional sofa bed. Unit sleeps 6. Large private yard, 100 ft. of pristine sand beach and lake bottom, large fishing/swimming dock, raft, sand beach and playground. Beautiful waterfront views. Near Hartman Creek State Park, restaurants, shopping, activities. We are open April until November. Nightly and weekend rentals available until mid-June and then late August to October. Weekly rentals only from mid-June through the 3rd week of August.

The Chain of Lakes is an impressive natural feature created by a receding lobe of the great Cary Glacier which melted approximately 12,500 years ago, leaving irregular hills and valleys. Organic matter plus deposits of sand, gravel and rocks trapped in the mass fell to the bottom of the valleys, creating their unique terrain. Great chunks of ice melted in the deep pits, forming today's lakes of the Chain.
