In 1963 Otto and Gen Keil purchased the Pines Inn and moved to Waupaca from Franklin Park, IL
with their four children, Elmer, Sandra, Nancy and Janice.  At the present time, Nancy and
her family own and manage the property.  

The Chain O'Lakes are deeply embedded in our hearts as well as the Pines Inn.  Over the
years the property has been re-imagined and remodeled and we are proud of what it has
become.  

Our hope is that those who stay with us get to love the lakes as much as we do.  Take a weekend or
